Good-Night

Deep sky.

Birds singing lullabies.

Sleep is near.

Stars begin to appear.

Hushed heart.

Dreams soon to start.

Bid day, “farewell”.

Night casts her spell.

Rest and renew.

Tomorrow, love waits for you.

Still not old enough to know better. I root around and explore ideas in philosophy, spirituality, poetry, Judeo-Christian Worldview, family, relationships, and art. Often torn between encouragement & self-directed chastisement, I may sputter, but I still keep trying to move forward.

  1. Jane, I love this. I “see” this poem as an adored children’s book, besides being a magical and beautiful poem of “hushed hearts” resting and preparing for another day feeling loved. I love your words, Jane. And I love you! Peace and blessings. It’s so good to see you.💛🎶🙏🏻

      1. I love you, Jane. We share a common spirit, a common love. Even when I don’t see you, or you, me, the connection in spirit is there! You’re in “ink” in my book, and my heart when I speak your name to our God. Much love and peace. 💛
